I just bought a CHI Flat Iron, and I want to know, what kind of styles you can do with and how?

I also want to know which heat protection should I use and should I straighten my wet or dry and which products to keep them shiny and healthy looking. And also my hair are not really thick or really thin, so which temperature should I use?
