Is friendship or love possible again?

I dated this awesome girl. We both fell in love, she said she needed a break. The anticipation killed me, especially the possibilty of going back to her ex. So I told her we were through for good, she said what about the future? or later in life and I said no. I regretted it. Tried to patch it up but she refused to talk to me for almost 2 months. Now she says everything is ok, but she still calls me an *** for doing what I did, and she never wants to talk to me on the phone. So I gave up, figured id hold myself accountable for what I said. Her friend tells me she is suprised im not talking to her, and I was like it seems like it bothers her so I stopped. She said it bothers her when you dont talk to her and it bothers her when you do... what does that mean?
