There has to be something that can be done?

I got a nasty letter in my inbox one day from someone that I do know but we r not friends on facebook.And in addition to the letter she took pics of my pg and put them on her page with all these nasty comments from her and her friends.Now once she did it I did everything I was suppose to do I blocked her changed settings on my pics deleted a folks that we were mutual friends with.All that was aug 2009. Now fast forward 5-13-10 she still has the 1st pics on her page in addition to another one.Now come on now enough is enough there has to be laws to protect people,someone just cant take your pics with out your permission and do what ever they want with them and slander a person like that...What can I do about this? I have written to facebook they have a section for that noone even responded..
