How long does it take to develop a good singing voice?

Well usually when someone has a good voice, believe it or not they're born with it. However, You can defiantly train your voice to sound better. You don't necessarily need vocal coaching all you have to do is sing a lot on your own time. Just like with the guitar some songs are harder than others, it also depends on which kind of music your trying to sing. To me it appears like country music is the easiest to sing, unless it;s Carrie Underwood, she's a tough one. But yeah if you just train your voice yourself you should hear improvement, the time varies.
