I've never had a profound connection with a guy?

well, i love guys and ive wanted a relationship, but it seems like i always find a reason to give up on the idea of one. for instance, my friend introduced me to a guy, and im sort of interested, but at the same time, theres no connection. i havent had a real, solid, connection with any guy? ive dated, but havent felt really attached. like, i could drop the relationship and it wouldnt hurt in the least. is it because im looking for an unatainable guy, or just because i havent found the right one?
