trust me just come out and tell him what happened.. saying anything but the truth and trying to avoid being direct will hurt him more.. just tell him what you told us. becasue it always hurts more to hear a girl make an excuse rather then just be decent and tell the truth.. and if you tell the truth im sure you will be friends again.
