What if your child votes totally different than you; what would you do as a parent?

If you treat your ADULT children like then when they don't vote according to you, I shudder to think how you reacted throughout their childhood to their other choices. Will they ever be allowed to have their own beliefs and opinions, or will that come when you p on and they are free?
