I need to pick a geographic feature for my next cl. Ex. The Dead Sea, Easter Island, etc.?

Use one of the Mayan temples, or temples of the Incas. They use to play sports til someone died. At the end they would behead the players at the top of the temple. Can't get any more gorey than that.
